As they get ready to spawn they move into staging areas for several weeks. Its also a good time of year to find trout in shallow waters.Ontario fishing in the summer brings with it stable weather. The Lake trout can be found in deeper regions of fifty to a hundred feet. Walleye and pikes will too, but will tend to move back into shallow areas to feed.
