Formed in 1999, this section of Northern Canada makes up one-fifth of the countrys land mass. You can find many variations of the arctic climate here, from fjords and icebergs in eastern Nunavut to shallow tundra lakes in the flatlands of western Nunavut.
Fishing Nunavut is known to be some of the worlds best! People often boast of catching trophy size trout and Northern pike. Nunavut is also renowned for its arctic char. Artic char are considered by many to be one of the top game fish in the world. If may be necessary however, to contact a local guide in order to find the best locations to find arctic char.
